What is Meuker?
Meuker finds sequential images and hierarchically scans opendirs.


So what can Meuker do for me?

• Somewhere online you've found a file named pussy01.jpg. Because of the number in its filename, you were clever enough to guess that there must also be a pussy02.jpg, pussy03.jpg etc. And sure enough, there are.


• Now, you'd like to share your discovery on a forum or a messageboard. But you don't see yourself writing out that whore list...


• Meuk it! Enter the URL of the first picture and let us take care of it.

Deep-mode, quick-mode, what's up with that?
A Deep-mode scan will check and verify that the pictures are actually there and accessible. In technical terms: it will skip 404 and 403's. While Quick-mode is much more stupid, it will not. However, you'll be able to trim your quick-mode results by using a pair of scissors.


What's an 'opendir'?
An opendir is a popular term for an Apache generated index page that's showing you all the files in a certain folder. The internet would be a boring place if all webmasters had a brain larger than a peanut.


Where or how do I find these opendirs?
You can do so by using this handy little website we found. Or choose to go to your favorite search-engine and fabricate your own queries. Like:

[Google] inurl:"/wp-content/uploads/" +.jpg pussy to find pictures of cats.


What about opendirs with lots of pictures in it. Will it crash my browser?
Not likely. When more than 50 pictures are found, the output will be restricted to only the visible part of your screen. It will update itself as you scroll down.


Your own opendir... it's full of cats?!

Privacy
Sure, we log the URLs that are Meuked. And of course we keep score on some numbers so your discoveries may end up in our 'Most Meuked Locations' list. However, we do not link the URLs to your (or your neighbour's) IP-address.
